Welcome

The decision to seek therapy for yourself or a loved one can often bring about mixed emotions. Taking that first step towards caring for yourself or a loved one can be the catalyst to bring about real and positive changes.

My practice is focused on treating teens, families and young adults who may be facing challenges in their personal, educational or social life.

I have worked successfully with young people experiencing:

anxiety

depression

adjustment-related difficulties

self esteem issues

family conflicts

effects from trauma

Therapy is one way of helping yourself, your child or your family to not only uncover and identify emotions and root causes of behavior, but also to help discover the client’s truth and inner reality.

There are many reasons to seek help from a therapist such as:

family conflict

childhood/adulthood trauma

issues adjusting to changes (moving, divorce, career changes)

educational concerns

behavioral concerns (aggression, acting out, withdrawing)

stress management

Whatever the reason, if it is causing extra stress and/or sadness, addressing these issues will surely help.

As an individual and family therapist, I have been working with clients of all ages for over ten years. My style is warm and caring, starting first with the development of an authentic relationship and then proceeding to insight-oriented psychotherapy with added behavioral tools of mindfulness and self-help tips along the way.

Please contact me if you are ready to make some positive changes in your life or are concerned about a loved one who may benefit from the added support of working with a therapist.
