I have been working with adolescents, young adults and families for 8+ years helping countless individuals work through life’s most difficult moments. I am well versed in treating anxiety, depression and trauma-related issues. I am skilled in teaching stress management to help anyone work through the challenges brought on by everyday life. I have been able to expertly build relationships with people who have had difficulties in therapy before with my unique approach and humorous personal touch.
I attended New York University’s Silver School of Social Work to gain my Masters in Social Work graduate degree. Upon graduation, I worked in an inpatient psychiatric hospital serving children and adolescents where I strengthened my engagement and group therapy skills. Shortly thereafter, I began working at a mental health clinic in White Plains as a psychotherapist for children, adolescents and families.
I have presented with other professionals on a discussion panel for the 2015 International Attachment Conference illuminating the work achieved through a program promoting stronger relationships between parents and children. Within this program, I learned invaluable techniques in helping parents and their children build stronger, more effective communication styles resulting in more secure relationships within the family.
